Product Characteristics and Applications ZHQ-DCa crude oil decalcifier is a water-soluble agent mainly composed of small-molecule polymeric carboxylic acid, chelating agent and corrosion inhibitor. It can react with calcium ions in crude oil to form stable water-soluble chelates. Through chelation and precipitation, calcium ions are converted into water-soluble substances or water-phase sediments, which are removed along with the water phase during oil-water separation in electric desalting units. This product can also remove magnesium, iron, sodium and other ions simultaneously. It is widely used for calcium and metal removal from crude oil.
