ZHQ-CH03 Aromatic Organic Phosphate Metal Salt

ZHQ-CH03 Aromatic Organic Phosphate Metal Salt is a second-generation aryl phosphate rigidifying & clarifying nucleating agent suitable for crystalline polymers.

I. Product Characteristics

(1) It features high melting point, outstanding thermal stability and powerful nucleating capacity. It delivers remarkable effects on improving product transparency, rigidity, tensile strength and creep resistance, and is applicable to all kinds of modified polypropylene products.

(2) Compared with DBS-type second-generation clarifying nucleants, it produces no aldehyde odor, avoids blooming and discoloration. Its clarifying effect is slightly inferior to DBS series, while its prominent advantage lies in tremendous rigidity improvement.

II. Application Fields

(1) It is widely used in homopolymer polypropylene and random copolymer polypropylene to manufacture modified PP products with high crystallinity, high rigidity and heat resistance, such as automotive bumpers, interior panels, instrument panels, and small home appliance housings (electric irons, hair dryers, rice cookers, electric steamers) and other PP articles.

(2) Used as clarifier: Mainly applied to random copolymer polypropylene. It greatly improves rigidity while enhancing transparency for transparent modified PP products. It is primarily used for medical supplies including disposable infusion sets, disposable syringes and disposable barrels, and also for food containers.
